Applications

The Plempire YHK-601 (Build) and YHK-102 (Support) material system is a professional solution specifically developed for the PL2000 PLUS industrial wax 3D printer. This combination is designed for the fabrication of high-resolution jewelry patterns. The Purple build wax creates the intricate jewelry model, while the White support wax enables the printing of complex, interlocking, and hollow geometries that would be impossible to manufacture using traditional methods.

Advantages

This material set provides jewelers with superior surface quality and minimal linear contraction of only 0.52%. The YHK-601 build wax is durable enough for safe handling of delicate prongs and filigree work. The YHK-102 support wax is contact-free and soluble, meaning it leaves no residue or mechanical damage on the surface of the model after melting, preserving the integrity of microscopic details like pavé settings.

Workshop Suitability

Optimized for direct investment casting, this 100% wax system features an extremely low ash content of 0.019%, ensuring a clean burnout without the risk of inclusions in the precious metal. The high-contrast Purple color of the build material allows for easy visual inspection of details before casting. The materials are supplied in industrial-sized bottles (1.2 kg and 1.35 kg) tailored for high-volume production cycles.

Technological Recommendation

The melting point of the support wax is set at 55°C, which is 13°C lower than the build material (68°C). This allows for the safe and selective removal of supports in a temperature-controlled bath without risking deformation of the actual model. For maximum dimensional accuracy, we recommend following the specific cooling and cleaning cycles provided for the PL2000 PLUS.

Maintenance / Service

Store materials in their original sealed containers at room temperature (15–25°C), away from direct sunlight.
