BlueCast X-Wax Filigree Resin

Application

Designed for direct jewelry casting using the lost-wax method. The material is primarily developed for 3D printing micro-pave settings, fine filigrees, detailed engravings, and models with wall thicknesses below 0.3 mm where standard materials fail.

Advantages

Features extreme dimensional stability after printing. Ensures 0% residual ash during burnout. Thanks to a high wax content, there is no thermal expansion during melting, eliminating the risk of investment cracking. Offers excellent castability even when using standard gypsum-based investments (e.g., Kerr Satin Cast, Prestige Optima).

Workshop Suitability

Fully compatible with modern MSLA/LCD and DLP 3D printers (monochrome). The chemical composition generates minimal odor, making this resin suitable for smaller or enclosed workshops and labs.

Technological Recommendation

The material does not require UV post-curing. After thorough washing and drying, models can be immediately sprued and invested. For optimal results with thin walls, adjust the exposure time to the minimum required to prevent light bleeding and loss of fine details (overcuring).

Maintenance / Service

Store in the original container in a dark place at room temperature (15 – 25 °C). Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. To maintain consistent print quality, filter the remaining resin from the vat through a 190-micron strainer after each print cycle.
