It is specifically developed for working with precious metals such as gold, silver, and platinum. Due to its unique properties, it is ideal for models with "stone-in-place" settings, ensuring secure stone fixation throughout the entire investing process.

Advantages

The material is characterized by extreme precision and the ability to capture even the finest textures. The main advantage is its chemical purity – it leaves zero ash or residue during burnout, which prevents metal porosity. X5 exhibits minimal shrinkage and high dimensional stability, which is crucial for the precise fitting of components in multi-part assemblies.

Workshop Suitability

X5 is the "workhorse" for professional workshops that demand consistent results without constant process recalibration. The resin is compatible with most standard investment powders on the market. Its mechanical durability in the green state allows for safe handling and manual finishing of the model before investing.

Technological Recommendation

• Cleaning: Wash in 99% Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) for 30–60 seconds. Do not exceed the wash time to prevent surface softening.

• Drying: Use compressed air immediately after washing to dry the model.

• Curing: Requires UV post-curing (30 minutes in a standard UV box or 10 minutes in a high-power rotary system).

• Investing: High-quality investment powders like Satin Cast or equivalents are recommended for superior surface results.

Maintenance / Service

Store in the original container at temperatures between 15–28 °C. The resin is light-sensitive; do not leave it in the VAT uncovered for extended periods. Shake the bottle gently before use. If pigment sedimentation occurs after long periods in the tank, stir carefully with a silicone spatula.
