Galloni Heavy Duty Fusus Casting Machine
Industrial induction vacuum centrifugal caster for Platinum, Steel, and Gold. Features 2100 °C dual-color pyrometer and dynamic double-swing arm.
Application
The Galloni Heavy Duty Fusus is a high-performance induction vacuum centrifugal casting machine specifically engineered for alloys with extreme melting points, such as Platinum and Steel, as well as high-volume Gold and Silver production. By combining medium-frequency induction with centrifugal force, it ensures perfect filling of the mold even for the most difficult alloys. The casting chamber features a unique convex bottom and cover design, which is technically superior for maintaining vacuum integrity and preventing leakages.
Advantages
This machine is equipped with a dynamic double-swing arm, designed to provide a straight and smooth entry of molten metal into the center of the flask sprue. Melting accuracy is managed by a state-of-the-art Dual-Color Optical Pyrometer capable of measuring temperatures up to 2100 °C. The medium-frequency induction heating creates a "self-stirring" effect, which guarantees absolute chemical and thermal homogeneity from the top to the bottom of the cast tree.
Workshop Suitability
Built for heavy-duty industrial use, the Fusus is a robust unit weighing 320 kg. It is designed for workshops that require versatility across different metals—capable of casting up to 500g of Platinum or 1.8kg of 18kt Gold. The system supports various inert gases (Helium, Argon, Nitrogen) to protect sensitive alloys from oxidation, ensuring a bright and clean surface finish straight from the flask.
Technological Recommendation
When casting Platinum or Steel, we recommend utilizing the full 10 kW power to reach the liquidus temperature quickly, minimizing the time the metal is molten. The dynamic arm is particularly beneficial for high-detail resin models, as it reduces metal turbulence that could otherwise erode the investment wall upon entry. Always ensure the closed-circuit water cooling is active at the required 3 l/minute to protect the induction coils.
Maintenance / Service
The machine requires an external vacuum pump (40 m³/h or 100 m³/h) and a compressed air supply at 7 bar. The convex chamber design simplifies cleaning and reduces the risk of gasket failure. 3DFantom provides professional installation, pyrometer calibration, and specialized training for high-temperature casting procedures to ensure long-term productivity and safety.
