Advantages

The Titancast stands out with its high-vacuum chamber standards. Unlike standard flat-lid designs, both the bottom and cover of the chamber are convex, a critical feature for maintaining extreme vacuum levels of 0.001 mbar ($1 \times 10^{-3}$). Melting is powered by a 10kW medium-frequency induction system with a self-stirring effect to ensure metallurgical homogeneity. For the pour, a dynamic double-swing arm ensures a straight, smooth entry of the molten metal into the flask center, minimizing turbulence.

Technological Recommendation

When casting Titanium, achieving the highest possible vacuum before melting is vital to prevent oxygen absorption and subsequent embrittlement. We recommend using high-purity Argon or Nitrogen as the inert atmosphere. The integrated LAND Instrument Dual-Color Optical pyrometer (up to 2100°C) offers ± 1% accuracy, which is essential for hitting the narrow casting windows of specialty alloys.

Maintenance / Service

The machine requires an external high-capacity vacuum pump (75 m³/h) and a closed-circuit water cooling system.
